When anxiety becomes a problem is when it starts to invade all areas of your life, without actually being helpful for you.
Sometimes a trauma might cause your brain to become overly cautious.
Other times people find themselves under intense pressure at work, school, or home for so long that they become anxious.
Genetics can also play a role in how often or intensely a person feels anxiety.
Whatever the cause for your anxiety, there is hope.
Thankfully, we have decades of research on what helps people cope with and lessen their fears, mind racing, and worrying.
