Do you feel like your mind races so fast that you’re exhausted from thinking, but you can’t turn it off?
Are there goals and dreams you have that feel impossible because your fears overtake you?
Does your heart ever start racing so suddenly that it wakes you up in the middle of the night?
Do you feel guilty because you can’t seem to stop and enjoy a good moment?

All these are Common realities for people Living with anxiety.
…Anxiety can make you feel restless and irritable.
…It can make it difficult to fall or stay asleep because your mind is all over the place.
…You find it very difficult, almost impossible, to relax.
And yet people frustratingly tell you to just “calm down and relax.” Don’t they realize that you would if you could?

Anxiety is a normal function of our brains.
It’s even good for us, if you can believe that!
Anxiety increases our chances of survival by making us focus on the important things we need to take care of.
It also causes us to avoid situations that could harm us.
When anxiety becomes a problem is when it starts to invade all areas of your life, without actually being helpful for you.
Sometimes a trauma might cause your brain to become overly cautious.
Other times people find themselves under intense pressure at work, school, or home for so long that they become anxious.
Genetics can also play a role in how often or intensely a person feels anxiety.
Whatever the cause for your anxiety, there is hope.

Thankfully, we have decades of research on what helps people cope with and lessen their fears, mind racing, and worrying.
With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), people new to anxiety or that have suffered for years see big improvements.
The field of neuroscience tells us that we can reshape our brains at any age.
With the techniques that I use, my clients get relief fast.
But it does take work.
As long as you are motivated to learn and try new things, the struggles that you have been going through can be helped.
